Gardening

Use dry ice to enrich your garden:

What you will need:

  • Insulated gloves
  • Tongs
  • Penguin Brand™ Dry Ice (approximately five to 10 pounds for a 170 square foot garden or any excess leftover from other projects)
  • Hammer

Let’s get started:

  1. Put on a pair of insulated gloves.
  2. Break up the dry ice into small pieces with a hammer. The smaller the pieces, the better.
  3. Keeping the gloves on, scatter the pieces of dry ice in your garden taking care not to get dry ice directly on the plants.

Plants survive by “ingesting” CO2. Placing dry ice around plants give them an opportunity to soak up that rich CO2. Now you can sit back and watch the flowers grow – fast.

Note: Results not guaranteed.
